A-level Physics — Year 13 (A2)

The final A-level year (ages 17–18) is the deep end: further mechanics (circular motion and oscillations), the unifying idea of fields (gravitational, electric and magnetic) and capacitance, thermal physics, nuclear and particle physics, and an astrophysics option that reaches to the edge of the universe. Builds on A-level Year 12.
