Canada Secondary School Physics

Secondary-school physics for Canada, following the provincial science curricula (the intermediate/junior science of Grades 7–9 and the senior physics of Grades 10–12). Forces, energy, electricity, waves and the atom move from everyday description onto a firm, quantitative footing. Each grade below is a course you can focus on.

Intermediate (7–9)

  1. Grade 7 — forces, energy, matter and space.
  2. Grade 8 — circuits, magnetism, sound and light.
  3. Grade 9 — motion, energy and waves you can measure.

Senior (10–12)

  1. Grade 10 — Newton's laws, waves, magnetism and the atom.
  2. Grade 11 — mechanics, quantum, circuits and fluids.
  3. Grade 12 — fields, thermal, nuclear and astrophysics.
