South African Grade 9 Mathematics

The final year of the Senior Phase (age 14–15), and the bridge into the FET Phase. Grade 9 sharpens algebra — factorising, harder equations and inequalities — meets straight-line graphs and the geometry of congruent and similar figures, and builds toward the choice of Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy in Grade 10. Builds on Grade 8.
